One bright sunny day in 2001, we planted a seed in the heart of the Irish countryside. We nurtured our seed with plenty of long hours, while the sun shone (a little!) and the rain poured (a lot!), and very soon our beautiful little homegrown giftware brand, Field Day Ireland, had sprouted.
Alix Mulholland, Company Director
“My basic luxury is…. A summer field of sweet clover. A cosy log fire on a winter’s day. Stone walls covered in wild bramble and fragrant rose. The sun on my face. Freshly laundered linen. The soothing sound of the sea. A warm bath after a long walk. The gentle glow of soft candle light. I believe it’s the simple everyday luxuries that brighten your day.”
With roots firmly planted in our Irish landscapes, wildflower woodlands and wind blown coastlines, Field Day Ireland’s scented candles, fine soaps and home fragrance collections reflect our wonderful natural heritage. Our lush green patchworks of fields, windy twisty country roads, higgledy piggledy dry stone walls, long sandy beaches, moist mist and rain are never far away. In essence, we’ve tried to ‘bottle’ all that is lovely about Irish life and landscape and share it. Wherever you travel in Ireland you can’t fail to be seduced time and time again by the beauty, sights and smells of this land.
Over the years, we’ve branched out to include beautiful printed Irish hand care products, always staying true to our Irish roots.
Creating beautiful scents is at the heart of our business, there’s nothing quite like the power of a scent to bring treasured memories of childhood days or holidays in Ireland flooding back. Whether it’s a lingering hint of a wild roses damp with dew, the fragrance of freshly cut grass bloom or the scent of “just” washed linen in the breeze, Field Day Ireland's scents will whisk you back to happy times. It’s no surprise that visitors to Ireland love to take our giftware products back home for souvenirs and gifts.
As well as being available to purchase online, you will find Field Day Ireland available in gift shops, boutiques, airports and department stores across Ireland and beyond.
